Professional Development.
As a teacher, I am committed to life long learning in my profession and have attended several professional learning opportunities that presented themselves at University this year.
Highvale Seminars.
In Semester One, I attended two P.D evenings at Highvale Secondary on Classroom Management and Assessment which involved pre-service teachers questioning practicing teachers about these aspects of the profession.
I also attended Survival Kit for Teachers by Glen Pearsall on skills for creating the best possible environments for students to effectively learn in and a school visit to Lilydale High School to learn about the IPad program running in Yr. 7.
